Before You Make That First Cut (by chupaxf)
This is my third tattoo I got done at Leviticus Tattoo in Minneapolis. It’s from the song “Hero” By Regina Spektor.
I chose these lyrics specifically to remind myself that I’m strong and can do anything I want in life. It’s also to remind me that no matter what obstacles I run into, I’ll survive them.

Your love must not depend on sad-eyed boys. You can be in love with sunflower dresses and vegan lasagna and Rice Krispies Treats and rain and skateboarding and Martha Graham and angel fountains. Then, the sad-eyed boys will come. Eventually, their fear will fade and they will come.
